Sam Whitebeard and Jake Blackbeard entered the Socialization Program at our shelter for the finishing touches. Our volunteers taught them to love being around many different people and seeking out affection and petting. Jake Blackbeard especially loves belly pets. Sam Whitebeard is a talker who loves attention and just to be around people.

Both of the Beard Bros are beautiful shiny guys with lots of energy. Sam Whitebeard, the more social of the two, loves to be picked up and cuddled, then purrs on high volume. He enjoyed hanging out in the same room as Jami, following her from room to room or sleeping on his cat tree while she
worked. He spent part of the night snuggling behind her knees.

Jake Blackbeard is more reserved and isn’t excited about being picked up but purrs loudly with pets and tickles like his brother. He enjoyed hanging out on the cat tree with his brother while Jami worked and liked to stay close by all day to be near her. He is super playful and loves to carry toys
around in his mouth.

The brothers are best buds and love being together, playing, and watching birds and squirrels from a cat tree. They are looking for a loving family who will enjoy interacting with them as well as watching them enjoy each other.
