Tracking Our Cats

In the United States, nearly a million healthy cats and kittens are euthanized each year at shelters. Unfortunately, feral cats often are the first to euthanize simply because they are born and live secluded lives absent of human contact. Adult feral cats are often not good candidates for adoption because of their fear of people.

LFFAC is making a positive impact on this community problem through their volunteer TNR program. In the charts below, you can see the results of our TNR program in 2018. And, with the support of many people and businesses in the Longmont community, we’re able to reach our goals and continue to work to reduce the number of unnecessary euthanized cats.
